Locally owned pet sitters on two coasts
Sitters by the Sea started in Virginia Beach in 2019 and now cares for pets across the Virginia Beach oceanfront and the Charleston Lowcountry.
Started by an animal lover in Virginia Beach
Joee Russo-Duffy founded Sitters by the Sea in 2019 to give Virginia Beach pet owners care they could count on. Clients noticed the difference quickly: the extra time spent with their pets, and the detailed reports and photos sent after every visit.
Word spread from the Oceanfront to Sandbridge, and Sitters by the Sea grew into a team of walkers and sitters. Today we also serve Charleston, SC, from downtown to Folly Beach, Kiawah and Isle of Palms.
Our tagline says it all: Sit. Stay. Go. Play.
